The Antal XT48 Self-Tailing 2-Speed Winch is a high-performance winch designed for demanding sailing conditions. It features a hard black anodised aluminium drum with vertical knurling, ensuring maximum horizontal friction for optimal line grip. The new self-tailing XT system adapts automatically to a wide range of rope diameters, and in case of overloading, it releases the line to prevent excess force on the self-tailing arm.
With gear ratios of 19:1 in the first gear and 47.4:1 in the second gear, the XT48 offers both rapid line recovery and powerful hauling capabilities. The winch is suitable for rope diameters ranging from 8 to 14 mm and is available in both aluminium and chrome-plated bronze finishes.
