The Antal XT52 Race Winch (Model XT52R) is a high-performance two-speed self-tailing winch designed for competitive sailors seeking speed, power, and reliability. The winch features a hard black anodised aluminium drum with vertical knurling, ensuring maximum horizontal friction for optimal line grip. The new self-tailing XT system adapts automatically to a wide range of rope diameters, and in case of overloading, it releases the line to prevent excess force on the self-tailing arm.
With gear ratios of 3.3:1 in the first gear and 11.1:1 in the second gear, the XT52 offers both rapid line recovery and powerful hauling capabilities. The winch is suitable for rope diameters ranging from 8 to 14 mm and is available in both aluminium and chrome-plated bronze finishes.
